About me

Thank you for finding me.

To those who already know me and my songs, rest assured there are several new ones now in the pipeline for recording. I have been incredibly busy compiling and more compiling of my back catalogue, but that’s the way it is. I still have cupboards full of cassettes (not to mention vintage reel-to-reel) of obscure unfinished material that one day I shall get around to reworking - some little gems hovering there.

I have a relatively intermittent past record of gigs, took me a long time to start enjoying myself on stage and now that I do I intend to make up for lost time. I am shortly to do some new live recordings, both as solo work with me on piano and guitar, and with my lovely band, featuring Christian Marsac, Oli Savill and Gary Sanctuary……we want to recapture the REAL ambience of the amazing evenings we have recently played.

I’m also working on a show for the Edinburgh Fringe this year. It will be more than a gig and less than a musical………songs of angst and passion with a smattering of self deprecation, humour and other delights.

Several years back I rediscovered painting so you can turn the page of the website for a glimpse of what I do when in that mode. I do not favour one over the other - it comes from the same place. Please do ask me if any of these images appeal, most are for sale and I am really happy to talk to you.

And that applies to my music. If anyone is curious as to where the inspiration comes for any particular song I will try and let you into the secret. Within reason, of course.

And look out for gigs, soon to be up and running.
